Phoebe Ione Tanner(Brooks(Hamlin), (1936-1992)
Phoebe Ione Tanner was born on 4 March 1936 in Burley,Idaho to Lee Duane Tanner and Reva Young. Phoebe Ione was married to _____________Brooks and had two children; a Son and a Daughter.
Phoebe Ione pass away in 1992 an is buried at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hood River County,Oregon.
John Earl Miller (1920-1992)
John Earl Miller was born on 27 July 1920 in Fullerton,Califorina to Ephraim Miller and Marion Hollinshead. John had served in the U.S. Army in World War II, he pass away on 30 August 1992 in Portland,Oregon and is buried at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland,Oregon. He never married or had any children.
Kenneth Miller (1930-2001)
Kenneth was born on 9 Oct 1930 to Ephraim Ashley Miller and Marion Hollinshead,
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War(1950-1953).
He pass away on 22 Oct 2001 Las Vegas,Nev.,and was cremated.
Dave Conner (1934-1999)
Dave Conner was born on 3 Feb 1934 in Oregon City,Oregon. He is the son of ____________ and
_____________.
Dave was married to___________ and had
three children and three step children. He loved the pacific ocean and camping,spending time with his family at the beach,he loved his family life.
He served in The United States Navy and received a "Honorable Discharge".
Dave aways went to the Tanner Family Reunion each year. These photo's here were taken at the Tanner Family Reunion at Toll Bridge park.
He pass away on 22 Feb 1999 and is buried at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hood River County,Oregon. (NOW HE IS WITH GOD)
Lawrence Miller (1922-2008)
NOTE: There are two names that were forgotten to put on Lawrence Miller's Obituarie,they were,Jaclyn Miller(Isaac's Wife) an Cameron(Isaac an Jaclyn Miller Son). Isaac Miller is a Grandson of Lawrence Miller and Cameron is a Great Grandson of Lawrence Miller.
On 13 July 1944,Lawrence was drafted and was inducted into the United States Army in Ft Lewis,Washington. Then he took basic training at Camp Roberts,Calif.
On 14th or 15th of Dec 1944,he departed from San Francisco,Calif.,on the USS General R.L. Howze(AP-134) to Oro Bay,New Guinea and arrived on 2 Jan 1945,then he departed to Hollandia Bay,New Guinea on 4 Jan 1945,then he departed to the San Pedro Bay(Leyte Island),Philippines an arrived on the 17th or 18th of Jan 1945.
He was assign to the 32nd Infantry Division and on 27 Jan 1945,the 32nd Division went ashore in the Mabilao Area of the Lingayen Gulf Beaches,Luzon Island and where his unit assembled in the Manaoag-San Vincente-Mapandan Area. He had fought in the "LUZON BATTLE" on the Villa Verde Trail in the Philippines.
In May of 1945,he got badly sick and was taken off the battle field an taken state side to be hospitalized. He learned latter,that his unit was wipe out and his best buddies were killed in action on the Villa Verde Trail,Philippines.Sometime that year he went to Ft.Sam Houston in San Autonio,Texas,later went to Camp Dermott and Camp Robinson in Arkansas. These camps were German POW Camps,where he was a supply Sergeant.
In June 1946,he was sent to Ft.Lewis,Washington and was Honorably Discharge from the U.S. Army on 29 June 1946. He received the "Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal", "Philippine Liberation Service Medal with One Bronze Star", "American Thearter Service Medal", "Victory Medal" and a "Good Conduct Medal". He also,received a "Combat Infantryman M-1 Badge".

Reo DeWayne Tanner (1938-2007)
Reo DeWayne Tanner was born on 4 May 1938 in Burley,Idaho to Lee Duane Tanner an Reva Young, he was the sixth of nine children. Reo was raised in Cascade Locks,Oregon and Hood River,Oregon,where he attended school.
Reo married Bertha_________________ in Stevenson,Washington,on 8 Aug 1960. They had three chilren;two Daughters and a son. He worked in Cascade Locks at the Sawmill and for the Union Pacaific Railroad and at the Dee Mill in Hood River County,Oregon, but he was well known for his body and fender work.
The family moved to The Dalles,Oregon in the mid-1970's. Reo enjoyed fishing,hunting,driving up to the mountains,photography and serenading with his voice while he played his guitar.
Reo served in the Oregon Army National Guard and the U.S. Army(Regular Army)in the 1960's during the Viet Nam War. On 28 Sept 2007,Reo pass away in The Dalles,Oregon of heart trouble. He was buried at the "WILLAMETTE NATIONAL CEMETERY" in Portland,Oregon.
Lee Duane Tanner And Reva Young
Lee Duane Tanner was born on 9 April 1911 in *Monore,Utah to Parley William Tanner and Ida Geneva Washburn. On 1 September 1928,Lee Married Reva Young in Utah.
Reva Young was born on 12 Jan 1912 in Orangeville,Utah to Dagbert Young and Phoebe Mary (Young) Young. Lee and Reva had 9 children and they lived in Duchesne,Utah; Burley,Idaho; Vancouver,Washington; Harlan,Oregon; Cascade Locks,Oregon and Hood River,Oregon.
Lee had work on farms in Utah and Idaho and he sheared sheep,work in the beetsugar factory, road construction, Diamond fruit, Union Pacific Rail Road and was a logger in the Pacific Northwest. He had his own business in Upholstery in Hood River,Oregon. Both Lee and Reva had worked in the ship yards in Vancouver,Washington; building U.S. Liberty Ships for the Navy in World War II. He tryed to join the U.S. Army,but they would not take him,because he had to many chidren to support. He was in the process of starting a business in a radiator repair shop in the Dalles,Oregon,but he pass away on 19 Jul 1976 in the Dalles,Oregon,before he could complete it.
Reva had worked in the fruit industry in Hood River,Oregon and the shipyards in World War II. She pass away on 19 Dec 1979 in The Dalles,Oregon. Both are buried at Pine Grove cemetery in Hood River County,Oregon
