Lee Duane Tanner was born on 9 April 1911 in *Monore,Utah to Parley William Tanner and Ida Geneva Washburn. On 1 September 1928,Lee Married Reva Young in Utah.
Reva Young was born on 12 Jan 1912 in Orangeville,Utah to Dagbert Young and Phoebe Mary (Young) Young. Lee and Reva had 9 children and they lived in Duchesne,Utah; Burley,Idaho; Vancouver,Washington; Harlan,Oregon; Cascade Locks,Oregon and Hood River,Oregon.
Lee had work on farms in Utah and Idaho and he sheared sheep,work in the beetsugar factory, road construction, Diamond fruit, Union Pacific Rail Road and was a logger in the Pacific Northwest. He had his own business in Upholstery in Hood River,Oregon. Both Lee and Reva had worked in the ship yards in Vancouver,Washington; building U.S. Liberty Ships for the Navy in World War II. He tryed to join the U.S. Army,but they would not take him,because he had to many chidren to support. He was in the process of starting a business in a radiator repair shop in the Dalles,Oregon,but he pass away on 19 Jul 1976 in the Dalles,Oregon,before he could complete it.
Reva had worked in the fruit industry in Hood River,Oregon and the shipyards in World War II. She pass away on 19 Dec 1979 in The Dalles,Oregon. Both are buried at Pine Grove cemetery in Hood River County,Oregon
